Two words came to mind on Tuesday night, as Cesc Fabregas led Arsenal to a famous victory at the San Siro: Gianni Rivera. The Milan inside left was a 19-year-old of infinite promise when the Italian club won the first of their seven European Cups, in 1963, and an acknowledged master when they reclaimed the trophy in 1969.
