It is time for soccer fans to step up and support the Quakes! In other countries professional clubs, each youth player is given a season ticket and expected to attend the first team's games.

Why?

Not only, do they know their players need to develop a passion for soccer - which will make them life long soccer fans, but they also know a young player learns from watching soccer. Plus, they know they are in a battle with other activities for a young players commitment - putting them in the stadium helps create and sustain the desire necessary in a young player to reach the stadium - as a player.

But most importantly, its football, its calcio, its soccer!

SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES VS. CHICAGO FIRE, Saturday, April 12, 1:30pm, at McAfee Coliseum, Oakland. Tickets $20–$70; www.tickets.com, 1-877-QUAKE-01.
