Liverpool is a club made in the United Kingdom, but facing self-destruction in the United States.

It is little more than 15 months since the U.S. entrepreneurs George Gillett Jr. and Tom Hicks pooled some of their wealth to buy the club. They jetted in to promise the fans the earth, but today George and Tom are no longer on speaking terms.
