Jessica Jochheim knocked in a tiebreaking goal with less than four minutes to play as the Foothill MVLA Lightning edged the Surf White, 4-3, to secure the championship in the GU-13 division of the San Diego Surf Cup. Jochheim’s goal stemmed the Surf’s building momentum, as the Surf had stormed back from deficits of 0-2 and 1-3 only to come up short.
