Jaye, who has a 4.25 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society, attributes his success to playing in the US Soccer Academy the past three years as well as working in the IMG system and with his goalkeeper coaches, Tim Mulqueen (FL) and Jason Batty (CA). “I am the luckiest GK in the US to have Coach Mulqueen and Coach Batty training me. I think they are two of the best keeper coaches in the country and they continue to push me to get better each session I work with them to take my game to the next level” Being able to come home and play for Mustang with my teammates who I grew up with and have the support of my head coach Carl Edwards and our Academy Club Director Fred Wilson has been the best” “My parents, brothers and sister have sacrificed allot for me the past two years and they now get to see me play and I get to see them play” He likens his game to Brian Perk (US U-20 MNT and UCLA GK). “I have watched Brian play in person and on video and study what he does. Were about the same size so I can relate to how big of a presence he has in his box. We have the same Coach and he tells me about his work ethic, leadership and eating habits which I try to work into my game and daily routine me so I can get to his level” Dallas is currently focusing on the upcoming Qualifiers and looking to commit to a college in the near future. He has an impressive list of choices he is hopeful for from around the country “I have the ability to graduate early next year after first semester of my Senior year and may go to college in the Spring to get a jump on classes and Spring soccer.”
