Not long ago Jorge Valdano said about
Lionel Messi: "If I had gone through everything he's been through at his age, I
wouldn't know whether to
shower before or after the games." Valdano was
referring to any 22-year-old being very confused if he faced such pressure on an
everyday basis, but he has also said that Messi is able to win matches alone.
"And even when opponents discover his creative pattern, there's no way of
stopping him. Only by a pack of hounds, and by breaking the rule book, can he be
stopped in his tracks," Valdano said.
