Walnut Creek Soccer Club is hosting the Sheffield Wednesday Youth Academy U11 and U13 teams from April 22nd to 28th,
2010. As part of our partnership with Sheffield Wednesday we are hosting a joint tournament as well as a coaching clinic conducted by the Sheffield Wednesday Youth Academy coaching staff.

Clinic Overview

The clinic will consist of two sessions. The first session on Saturday will be an on-field clinic, led by Sheffield Wednesday coaches Nev Burbeary and Matt Burton, focused on skill development and 1v1/2v2 attacking and defending. The secondsession will be a class-room based clinic with Carl Wells (sports scientist) covering athletic development in soccer.

Fees
Coaches for teams participating in the tournament can send their coaches to the clinic free of charge. Other coaches are welcome to attend for a nominal fee of $25/coach. Space is limited, first 40 registered will be allowed.
