Real Salt Lake Official Open Combine at Grande Sports World Coaches and Players... My name is Michael Munoz and I am the Director of Soccer Communications at Grande Sports World as well as one of the staff coaches for the RSL-AZ Development Academy, the official youth academy of Real Salt Lake. The reason why I am writing you today is on behalf of the Real Salt Lake First team staff and their General Manager Garth Lagerway. They wish to extend an open invitation to all of your players who wish to be seen by the RSL First Team Staff. There is no age limit on years in school and will also be open to any players out of contracts and are looking to make it to the MLS level. Please pass on this information to your teams or anyone who you may think would be interested at having a shot at playing at the highest level. Grande Sports World (www.grandesports.com <http://www.grandesports.com/> ) will be hosting the event as the RSL First Team Staff will be conducting training sessions, interviews and evaluating the players before the upcoming MLS Draft, as well as track players for 2012. The players will eat, sleep and train at the Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort/ Grande Sports World...the official preseason training facility for Real Salt Lake. Attached you will find an official letter from the RSL General Manager Garth Lagerway for the invitation for the boys. Also you will find a waiver, physicians report, itinerary and application that will need to be sent back to me. The Open Combine with the RSL Staff will take place December 14-16 at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Arizona. Players may be asked to stay over for the next three days as the RSL staff will conduct an invite only which takes place December 16-18. Just for your information Grande Sports World is the home of the RSL-AZ Development Academy program. GSW has the first MLS Residential program in the country where we currently have 24 players living and training with us full time from all over the country.
