Application & Fee

  • The 2007 National Cup VI is open to US Club Soccer Members only.

  • All Cup applications are submitted and the registration fee is paid online via credit card. Applications are available online by clicking on the link above in the 2007 National Cup VI Regionals table. The Cup fee prior to April 13, 2007 remains $695. (Some age groups might close prior to April 13, 2007. It is not guaranteed that by applying before April 13, 2007, a spot in the National Cup VI will be available.)

    • Late Application Submittal: All applications submitted after April 13, 2007 will incur a $100 late fee. Also, any applications submitted after April 13, 2007 will be accepted only on a "space available" basis.

    • Regional Events Closed: Each Regional will be closed three weeks prior to the start date of that particular Regional. Late applications will no longer be accepted once a Regional is closed. Schedules for each Regional will be posted two weeks prior to the kickoff of each event.

Application Instructions

  • As in previous years, a team may choose to attend any 2007 National Cup VI Regional, and is not limited to the ones in its USSF Region. Please note there is a separate application for each Regional. Teams can apply to ONE Regional only.

  • To ensure a high level of competition for all clubs, all teams applying for the 2007 National Cup VI will do so at the Premier level. A tournament committee, consisting of soccer-knowledgeable, neutral, club soccer coaches, will review all the applications and select teams to be promoted into a Super Cup division.

The 2007 National Cup VI applications are administered by the GotSoccer Scheduler. Club administrators may apply as a single team or with more than one team. Read the directions below.

To Apply:

  1. Click your region of choice above to start the application process.
  2. If you already have a Gotsoccer login, enter your username and password or if you do not have a Gotsoccer login, enter a username and password under NEW TEAMS.
  3. Follow the directions for completing the application

Please note that after submitting your application, the software gives teams an opportunity to fill in roster information. This is used for recruiting purposes only and, although suggested, it is NOT required to apply and you can go back and do this later. In addition, please make sure you have an official US Club Soccer roster and received your player passes directly from US Club Soccer.

Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email acknowledging its receipt. Later, you will receive another email informing you if you are accepted to the 2007 National Cup VI.

For updates on application status or to modify team information (coaches, managers, players' info, etc.), click on the application link and log in with your GotSoccer user name and password. Once logged in, click on "Main Menu".

Refunds & Team Drop Policy

There will be no refunds of the Cup application fee unless:

  • There is no competition conducted at the Regional in the age group applied for, and the team chooses not to play up, or attend a different Regional.
  • A team, having applied for a Regional, subsequently wins its state cup or USYSA Regional League, and chooses to attend the USYSA Regional instead of the US Club Soccer Regional. In this instance, refund requests must be made via email to the team’s respective regional email address within seven days of such team winning its state cup.

In all other cases, teams are expected to fulfill their commitment to attend The Cup:

  • Any team that drops prior to the close out date for each Regional (three weeks prior to that Regional) will not be refunded their entry fee.
  • Any team that drops after the close out date (three weeks prior to that Regional) will be charged $1,000.
    • For any team that is eligible to receive a $1,000 fine, the club of the respective team will be required to post a $1,000 bond to enter any teams in the Cup in the following year (one bond per club).

Player/Staff Passcard Surcharges

We urge all teams to request their player and staff cards for the 2007 National Cup VI as soon as possible. A surcharge will be applied for last minute cards as follows:

  • A $100 surcharge will be assessed to teams that have not requested and provided paperwork and payment for a minimum of 7 players by May 1, 2007.
  • A $4/card surcharge for cards that have to be issued at a regional will be assessed to teams that have carded a minimum of 7 players by May 1, 2007, but who still need additional cards.

Teams will not be allowed to play in the Regionals until all fees and surcharges are paid.

Regional Information

  • US Club Soccer has designated specific contacts for Hotel Information for each Regional. All participating teams are required to book their hotel needs through them. Additional hotel information for each Regional will be released shortly.
  • Directions, field maps, further hotel information, rules, refund policies, and other information for each Regional will be available shortly by clicking on the name of the city in the Regional table at the top of the page.
